A bit about me,
my process, & experience

I'm a jack of all trades and master of none. I'm good at most things but the best at nothing. I love to spend time with my family (at the beach), go fishing, and play music. I have a guitar acquisition addiction but I'm working on it... wait until we video chat. I thrive under pressure as much as I do on vacation.

More than anything, I enjoy making people happy. I'm a people pleaser. A trait that makes me a good collaborator and designer. I believe intention, empathy, improvisation, and rational thought makes creative successful. Being able to relate to people, in any situation, in any mindset, in any location is the key.

I also believe that variety is the spice of life which is why I've never ordered the same thing at a restaurant and spent the last 19 years in as many different creative environments as possible. I've worked for global and regional advertising agencies, a few boutique brand and digital studios, in-house at a university, a hospital system, and a hospitality company. My goal is always the same, do great work and learn as much as possible. I try to learn at least 5 new things everyday... mainly from my two year old daughter.

My Process

Discovery

I always start each engagement in research and discovery mode, asking questions, listening, and learning. This is the foundation of your brand we’re talking about, so it’s important we understand who you are, what you do, and why you’re special.

Strategy

My goal is to create brands and websites that can stand up to the test of time and allow you to attain your goals. In this phase we’ll define brand pillars, positioning, and strategic approach to set the stage for a unified brand experience.

Design

At this point we've uncovered some insights and have a clear strategy, so it's time to go forth and think, sketch, collaborate, and critique until we’re ready to present some initial concepts.

Execution

Once design direction is decided, it’s time to make it happen. From here we'll work to create a unified brand experience in the places that matter most: Digital, physical, and social.
